Timeframe and preset information
M15 is part of the product name. The supplied SET file selects H1 for SignalTimeframe and ATR, with M15 EMA confirmation. Check the actual EA inputs after loading the preset and select the configuration you intend to test.
Historical backtest snapshots
Six-month test: initial deposit 10,000; net profit 16,676.74; 32 trades; profit factor 94.57; relative equity drawdown 3.04%.
Long test: initial deposit 10,000; net profit 201,179.07; 222 trades; profit factor 53.42; relative equity drawdown 54.43%.
Figures are historical simulations in account currency. Period labels are supplied with the reports; exact date ranges are not visible in the report screenshots. The long test experienced substantial equity drawdown. The comparison image uses different starting deposits and is not a controlled, like-for-like performance ranking.
Installation and testing
Copy the EX5 into your MT5 data folder under MQL5/Experts, refresh Expert Advisors, then attach it to the intended XAUUSD chart. Load the supplied SET file where appropriate, review every input and test with your own broker’s symbol specifications and trading costs before demo forward testing.
Important risk notice
Basket recovery and increasing position sizes can produce substantial floating losses, margin pressure and loss of capital. The supplied preset includes a volume multiplier of 2, up to 8 basket positions and a balance drawdown threshold of 100%; it should not be treated as a protective low-risk configuration. Broker data, spreads, commission, swaps, slippage, leverage, execution and settings can materially change results. Historical results do not guarantee future performance. Always backtest independently and test on demo before considering live trading.
